After undergoing treatment and rehabilitation, Callahan began teaching fitness classes at Coast Life in 2018. He started with a free trial class, which became a huge success, and has since led over 100 classes. As Callahan says, “Fitness classes are not just about physical exercise; they’re about community and connection. When you’re in a fitness class, you’re not just exercising your body, you’re exercising your mind and spirit as well.” He leads classes that focus on boxing-inspired movements, dance, and other forms of exercise, blending traditional gym workouts with fun, engaging activities. Callahan emphasizes the importance of self-care and self-love, encouraging participants to focus on their mental well-being and self-care. He believes that fitness can be a powerful tool for personal growth and development, and that it can help individuals overcome challenges and achieve their goals. “Fitness is not just about physical appearance; it’s about feeling empowered and confident in your own skin,” Callahan says.
